2026 Agenda

January

The importance of journal writing is still so huge, I don't know that I will ever steer away from this being the month of January. Only time will tell. put pen to paper, the importance of this is more than you will ever know. This creates legacy. It allows others to see you through a different set of eyes.

February

Connect with someone that you think a lot about but don't have a close relationship with. See if you can build that relationship. Connect when you have enough time to truly dive in and ask great questions, and able to truly listen. Learn something new. Taylor really wanted to learn Spanish and put it into her daily routine. Find something that interests you to add to your daily routine.

March

Go for a walk or a run. Taylor started running and had moments where she truly loved it and other times where she disliked it, but always wanted to like it. She would get something in her where she would just get up and go on a long run without having trained for such a long run. I think it helped her get through all of her thoughts. So if you have something you need to work through give it a try. If running truly isn't something you want to try, grab a friend and have a good conversation while enjoying the outside.

April

Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Month. Host a conversation with Saprea in your home, school, or church. Taylor was starting to get as involved as me when it came to starting the conversation and bringing awareness on this topic.

May

Find an orchestra performance. Go to a symphony concert. Do something to bring viola music into your life.  Taylor started playing the viola in middle school. She would quietly practice in her room. I was so thankful when her high school teacher created cafe nights so that I had the opportunity to actually hear her play.

June

We are keeping this one for always. Find a way to be able to drive a little reckless. Bumper cars, bumper boats, go-carts. The stories that fill our minds of her driving will keep a smile on our face and laughter in our hearts. All be it, it was also a little scary. Mostly funny, so we will hold onto that.

July

Pay it forward Day. Give to your favorite organization, be it monetarily or with time. Make it a group activity. Share with friends and family what it is that you did and share what you got out of doing it.

August

Put hygiene bags together.  Get your community together and gather things that are needed for your favorite organization that helps with homelessness, domestic violence, or juvenile facilities.  See how you can help in a way that fills your cup.

September

Do a suicide walk in honor of a friend, family member, or Taylor. Mental health takes a toll and suicide is such a hard way to lose a loved one. Find your local walk or fly into UT and join my team. Do a project in your community to bring awareness to suicide prevention.

October

Support a family. Get curious on how you can learn what trauma does generationally.  Taylor had to deal with a lot of outside forces to get as far as she did. Take a parenting class from Family Haven, have them come and teach your adult children tools for their tool belt so when they become parents they have some lessons that can come in handy. Learn what Family Haven does for the community, do a service project for them.

November

Time to learn how 1 voice really does matter. The Policy Project will have a day at the capitol where they talk about what initiative they will be bringing to the legislative session. Become a volunteer for them, or hold a service project for them.

December

Let's gather. Gather as family or friends. Host an event where you can sit and enjoy a conversation with those that you love and appreciate. Do a project that will help Hearts Knit together. Learn what they are doing for our community and how your donations and service can help.

I remember in high school I went with Taylor to visit a friend at work. When we were leaving the parking lot it was completely empty aside from one single car with the driver sitting in it on his phone. Taylor managed to back directly into his car. The only car in the entire empty lot and she hit it haha. I still can’t believe I used to let her drive my car everywhere haha. Love you Taylor and I miss you every day.

When my family took me and her to the Imagine Dragans concert and we stayed in a hotel that night and just had such a good time. Her being my friend inHigh school was one of my biggest blessings.

I want to thank Java Joe's in participating with the month. They allowed me to give them my cards and tell Taylor's story. I paid for 40 coffees and with others paying it forward, it went on for 4 hours!!! I appreciate all those that continued to make someone else's day
