(W)hole, My Journey to W

Introduction:
*Trigger warning - conversation about child sexual abuse, suicide ideation, and childhood trauma Amber Washington is the founder of Whole Heals, a human-centered platform transforming how individuals, communities, and organizations understand healing through storytelling, connection, and trauma-informed leadership. Through Whole Heals, Amber created the Voice Collective — a storytelling platform that brings people together through live events, media, and shared experiences designed to create brave spaces for expression and safe spaces for listening. After surviving childhood sexual abuse and navigating years of unprocessed trauma, Amber began her healing journey by sharing her story in a corporate tech environment — sparking powerful conversations around vulnerability, leadership, and human connection. That moment became the foundation for both her memoir and her mission. She is the author of Whole: My Journey to W, and her work now sits at the intersection of storytelling, trauma awareness, and leadership transformation — helping others feel seen, understood, and less alone. Amber has been featured across multiple media platforms and is actively building a movement centered on one core belief: You can’t heal what you don’t understand. https://www.wholeheals.com/ https://www.instagram.com/thelisteninglamb/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/amber-washington-62a434186/ Saprea Retreat | Support for Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse https://share.google/VcN7MiJY5DyNQagk8
